The beautiful Provencal village of Plan de la Tour is an unspoiled typical provencal village, full of charm with its old lanes and ancient bell tower. It has 8 fabulous restaurants, a bar, several grocery stores, tourist office, tabac, pharmacie and its own market on a Thursday morning.
Plan de la Tour is superbly isolated from the hustle and bustle of the coastal resorts during peak tourist seasons, but its close proximity, via country lanes, allows easy access when desired. The village can be accessed from either the Le Luc/Le Muy exits (30-40 min drive) of the A8 motorway, direction St Tropez/Ste Maxime respectively. A8 provides easy access to all the main attractions on the Cote d'Azur.
Ste Maxime

The more bustling coastal town of Ste Maxime is only a 10 mins drive and boasts everything you could possibly look for, from designer shops to 6 kms of golden beaches!
From here, ferries run every 20/30 mins to St Tropez/Cannes. Stroll through the famous Provencal markets, view the magnificent yachts or simply watch the world go by.
The nearest beaches are also in Ste. Maxime, which boasts 6km of beaches plus many more stretching from St Tropez all the way to Nice! The choice is yours!
Activities nearby

There are plenty of activities available such as, diving, sailing, golf (two 18 hole courses), cycling, hiking, fishing, riding, mountain biking, and even a casino. There is also the famous Aqualand water park, an absolute 'must' for the kids.
The nearest hypermarket, is located on the outskirts of Ste Maxime, 5 kms from the villa. Boutiques and designer shops can be found in Ste Maxime, Port Grimaud and St Tropez
St Tropez is 30 mins away, and the 'A8' autoroute is also 20 mins from the house, giving access to the whole of the Cote d'Azur. !
